Our Story
Opening in 2006, Scarlet & Violet was a small team of talented florists taking on events, weddings, and the day-to-day of shop life. This has shifted to become more shop-centric in recent times. We use the ever-changing seasonal blooms to create bunches of all shapes and sizes for our customers.
As florists we meet people at all times of their lives. From a "pick-me-up" treat, to a "get well soon", to a "Congratulations". Each bunch we create is for a different person or occasion. Having the shop is a lovely opportunity for our team to talk flowers with all our visitors, whether they are a one-off or returning again and again.
Vic, our founder, has based our shop style on the quintessential country garden. Wild, natural, and imperfect. Celebrating the seasonal standouts; Peonies in summer, Dahlias in autumn, Hellebore in winter, and Tulips in spring. No S&V bunch is ever the same, and we always enjoy getting the "just something S&V " request, finding new combinations and joy in every new bunch.
